Most shifters see Shane as a cold-hearted killer and live in fear of him. They make sure to walk the other way when they see him approaching and they never, never dare speak to him, let alone try to make a friendly gesture his way.
Shane is far from alone in this world, however. Not only does he have his attention on a certain Panther shifter named Trevor, but he's been accepted into the fold of Mitchell's coalition. Whether or not Shane understands it, they all refuse to turn their backs on him and they actually seem to care about him.
Will Shane be able to learn how to accept love? Or is he doomed to wander the world alone?
